Ordering
To purchase from Old Inn Road Wine, you must be 18 years or older. Failure to confirm your age will result in the non-processing of your order. By placing an order, you verify the accuracy of all personal information provided. Any amendments to orders must be made prior to dispatch, with additional fees applicable for post-dispatch amendments.
Delivery & Authority to Leave
Orders will be delivered within 7 to 10 business days. During checkout, you may authorize the delivery personnel to leave your order if your delivery address is unattended. Note that requests outside approved options will not be followed for security reasons. Wine cannot be left beyond the property’s boundary line.
While delivery instructions provided during checkout guide the Contracted Courier Company, it is not guaranteed that these instructions will be followed. The delivery driver has discretion in deciding whether your delivery instructions are safe to comply with.
Delivery in Your Absence
If you are not present during delivery and have not authorized a leave, a card will be left at your property with details about the collection point. Unclaimed consignments after 5 business days may be returned to the sender.
Old Inn Road Wine and the contracted courier company are not liable for missing goods when authority is given for delivery without a signature.
Person in Attendance Age Verification
If the person at the delivery address appears to be under 25 years of age, the delivery driver may request proof of age. Failure to provide suitable proof will result in the parcel being returned to a collection point, with the option to collect upon presenting proof of age identification. A delivery notification card will be provided.
If a person at the address cannot produce proof of age but submitted delivery instructions with an authority to leave, the authority to leave will not be followed. Instead, the parcel will be delivered to the collection point, with a delivery notification card provided.
Faulty Goods
Old Inn Road Wine guarantees a refund, exchange, or repair for faulty, damaged, wrongly described, or consumer guarantee-breaching products (excluding misuse).
Your Rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for other foreseeable loss or damage. Goods failing to meet acceptable quality standards can be repaired or replaced, provided the failure doesn’t constitute a major failure.
